Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in medical office administration or healthcare administration is preferred.
• Experience in patient registration or front desk in healthcare is beneficial.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and medical terminology is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and families professionally and compassionately.
• Register patients for emergency services and collect required information.
• Verify patient identity and insurance details; update records as needed.
• Explain and obtain signatures on consent forms when required.
• Ensure accurate insurance information for billing and eligibility checks.
• Collect co-pays and inform patients of financial obligations.
• Assist patients with understanding insurance requirements and questions.
