Job summary

LFG, based in Menlo Park, CA, seeks an Equity Lead to manage our capitalization table and employee equity program. You will ensure accurate records and work closely with Finance, HR, and Legal to govern equity transactions.

Responsibilities include grants, vesting, 409A valuations, and supporting financing rounds. The role demands CEP certification, 5+ years in equity administration, and the ability to explain equity clearly to employees.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in equity or stock plan administration.
• CEP certification (CEP) required.
• Experience with cap table platforms (Carta/Shareworks).
• Excellent accuracy and discretion with confidential data.
• Strong ability to explain equity to employees.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the capitalization table and equity records in the equity management system.
• Administer the employee equity plan, including grants, vesting, exercises and terminations.
• Coordinate 409A valuations and stock-based compensation accounting with the Controller.
• Support financing rounds and other equity transactions with Legal and outside counsel.
• Collaborate with HR/Compensation Lead on equity guidelines for new hires and promotions.
• Answer employee questions about their equity and explain equity to new hires.
