Job summary

LFG designs, builds and manages power infrastructure for compute systems and utility providers. The Equity Lead administers the company's equity, including the capitalization table, the employee equity plan and equity transactions. You will work closely with Finance, HR and Legal to ensure accurate equity records.

The role requires 5+ years in equity or stock plan administration and CEP certification. You will be based onsite in Menlo Park, CA, with compensation details discussed during hiring.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in equity or stock plan administration.
• Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certification.
• Experience with cap table platforms such as Carta or Shareworks.
• High accuracy and discretion with confidential data.
• Ability to explain equity clearly to employees and new hires.

Job description

The Equity Lead administers the company's equity: the capitalization table, the employee equity plan and equity transactions. You will be the person employees, executives and investors rely on for accurate equity records, and you will work closely with Finance, HR and Legal.

What you will do

• Maintain the capitalization table and equity records in the equity management system
• Administer the employee equity plan, including grants, vesting, exercises and terminations
• Coordinate 409A valuations and stock-based compensation accounting with the Controller
• Support financing rounds and other equity transactions, and handle related securities and tax filings with Legal and outside counsel
• Work with the HR / Compensation Lead on equity guidelines for new hires and promotions
• Answer employee questions about their equity and explain equity to new hires

Qualifications

• 5 or more years in equity or stock plan administration
• Certified Equity Professional (CEP).
• Experience with a cap table platform such as Carta, Shareworks or a similar system
• High accuracy and discretion with confidential data
• Ability to explain equity clearly to employees who are new to it.

• Willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
• This position is based in Menlo Park, CA, and requires being onsite full-time - hybrid and remote work will not be considered

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $150,000.00 - $275,000.00

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at LFG. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses.
