Job summary

BTIG seeks a highly motivated Equity Sales Trading Assistant to join our Miami office. The role focuses on seamless execution, accurate trade booking, and proactive client service in a fast-paced environment.

You will support Sales Traders, manage trade status inquiries, and assist with onboarding and KYC/AML documentation while collaborating with traders and operations teams to ensure smooth settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in a trading, brokerage, or middle-office operations environment.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales Traders with order entry, trade allocations, and accurate trade booking across OMS/EMS.
• Serve as liaison between trading desk, clients, and middle/back-office to resolve trade breaks, fails, and settlement issues.
• Provide daily support to institutional clients on trade status, account balances, and allocations.
