Job summary

BTIG seeks a highly motivated Equity Sales Trading Assistant to join our Miami office. This role ensures seamless execution, allocation, and settlement of trades, thriving in a fast-paced environment with strong client service.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Finance/Economics/Business, 1–3 years in financial services, and proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg is a plus. U.S. full-time work authorization; sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in trading, brokerage, or middle-office operations.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses are preferred.
• Authorized to work full time in the U.S.; sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales Traders with order entry, trade allocations, and accurate trade booking across OMS/EMS.
• Serve as liaison between trading desk, clients, and operations to resolve breaks, fails, and settlement issues.
• Provide daily support to institutional clients for trade status, accounts, and allocations.
• Assist with onboarding, including KYC/AML, account opening, and CRM data maintenance.
• Generate and distribute daily trading, commission, and P&L reports; maintain desk records.
