Our client is a global trading firm based in New York City seeking an experienced Trading Assistant / Trade Operations professional. This role works closely with trading desks to support high-volume, time-sensitive trading activity across international equity and ETF products.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day trade operations for ADRs and International ETFs across global markets
• Manage trade booking, allocations, confirmations, and settlement in coordination with trading, middle office, and external counterparties
• Resolve trade breaks, fails, and reconciliation issues across multiple regions and custodians
• Partner closely with traders and execution teams to ensure smooth post-trade workflows
• Coordinate with prime brokers, custodians, and clearing firms on operational matters
• Assist with process improvements and automation initiatives as the desk scales
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; strong academic background preferred
• 2–5 years of experience in Trade Operations, Middle Office, or Post-Trade support
• Direct exposure to ADRs, International Equities, and/or International ETFs strongly preferred
• Experience supporting front-office trading desks in a high-volume environment
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, settlement mechanics, and global market nuances
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working under pressure
