Qualifications

• Master’s in physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise or adaptive physical education.
• Bachelor’s in any of the above and Master’s in any life science, dance, physiology, health education, recreation administration or physical therapy.
• A valid California Community College Credential or the equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Teaching a part-time schedule of Physical Education courses as assigned.
• Using a variety of pedagogies and instructional delivery systems including online/hybrid formats.
• Communicating effectively with students, faculty and staff.
• Using approved curriculum outlines of record and evaluating student progress.
• Providing course syllabi and maintaining classroom records.
• Turning in required grading and evaluation reports in a timely manner.
• Fulfilling duties as required by Administrative Regulation 7122 and other assigned tasks.
