You will communicate with students and colleagues and ensure compliance with curriculum standards. The ideal candidate has strong commitment to student success, and experience teaching diverse student populations in a community college setting.

Qualificações

• Evidence of responsiveness to diverse student backgrounds and equity-minded teaching.
• Master’s in engineering (or equivalent) required.
• Bachelor’s in engineering with Master’s in math/physics/CS/chemistry/geology or equivalency.
• Valid California Community College Credential or equivalency by petition.
• PE license is an acceptable alternative qualification for this discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Teaching a part-time schedule of Engineering courses as assigned.
• Using a variety of pedagogies and technology in face-to-face, online or hybrid formats.
• Communicating effectively with students, faculty and staff.
• Adhering to approved curriculum outlines and course objectives.
• Maintaining records, grading and timely reporting.

Master's in engineering

Bachelor's in engineering + Master's in math/physics/CS/chemistry/geology

California Community College Credential

Equivalent education and/or experience (equivalency)

Professional Engineer (PE) license
