Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or 48 college units or passing Instructional Aide exam.
• Ability to work during after-school hours and commit through the academic year.
• Experience with K-12 youth in educational or enrichment settings.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships and a sense of belonging with students.
• Support students' social-emotional learning through restorative practices.
• Address conflicts with culturally responsive approaches.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate with families and coordinators.
• Arrive prepared with materials, lesson plans, and routines.
• Plan engaging, student-centered lessons that integrate academics and SEL.
