Job summary

Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) is hiring an Expanded Learning Program Lead Instructor to deliver high-quality after-school and enrichment experiences for K–12 youth. You will mentor staff, model best practices, and support data-driven program quality at the site level.

The role requires working after school through mid-June, building positive relationships across diverse backgrounds, and promoting inclusive learning environments aligned with BACR values.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher, or 48 college units, or passage of the Instructional Aide Exam.
• Criminal background check and TB clearance required.
• Ability to work during after-school hours and through mid-June.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with K–12 youth in educational, enrichment, or community settings.
• Ability to supervise and engage groups of up to 22 students.
• Ability to build relationships with youth from diverse backgrounds.
• Basic proficiency with email, Google Drive, and program platforms.
• Mandated Reporter certification and other required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality expanded learning experiences for K–12 youth.
• Model high-quality practices and mentor Program Instructors.
• Support program operations, data entry, and classroom routines.
• Contribute to CQI processes and site-level quality goals.
• Collaborate with families, school staff, and community partners.
