Job summary

Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) seeks a Lead Program Instructor for the Expanded Learning Program. You will deliver engaging after-school experiences that support academic, social-emotional, and leadership development for K–12 youth, while modeling restorative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practices.

This role includes mentoring Program Instructors, guiding instruction and youth engagement, supporting site operations, and contributing to CQI efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree or higher or 48 college units.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and TB clearance.
• Ability to work after-school hours through the academic year (hire date through mid-June).
• Experience with K–12 youth in education, enrichment, recreation, or community settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and model high-quality instructional practices.
• Mentor Program Instructors in classroom management and youth engagement.
• Support CQI processes and site-level data entry/organization.
• Collaborate with families, school staff, and community partners to promote student growth.
• Ensure safe, inclusive learning environments and address behavioral concerns.
