Job summary

The Madison Metropolitan School District seeks a Schoolwide Systems Coach to catalyze and sustain equitable, engaging, and restorative learning environments across schools. This role partners with building administrators and leadership teams to coordinate system changes affecting adult practices, beliefs, and biases that influence student outcomes.

The position drives implementation, fidelity, and continuous improvement of schoolwide systems, focusing on culture, climate, and belonging.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to culturally and linguistically responsive, anti-racist, and equity-focused practices.
• Experience leading professional learning for adults and coaching staff.
• Knowledge of restorative practices and MTSS/ behavioral supports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support systems change with a focus on equitable adult practices.
• Partner with administrators and leadership teams to implement district-wide culture and climate initiatives.
• Lead professional learning and coaching for staff on the universal framework for culture and climate.
• Monitor and evaluate school-wide systems to ensure progress toward equity goals.
• Support staff in designing and using restorative and proactive behavior strategies.
• Assist in data-informed decision making to reduce disproportionality in outcomes.
• Collaborate with district partners to align supports for students and families.
