Job summary

EdFund West seeks a School Climate Coach to support district-wide PBIS implementation with an emphasis on restorative and healing-centered practices. The role centers on coaching sites, analyzing data, and ensuring fidelity to climate initiatives aligned with Community Schools expansion.

The coach will train staff, conduct walk-throughs, and collaborate with site teams to reduce discipline disproportionality and improve student behavior across schools in WCCUSD.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Education-related field or equivalent.
• Experience leading positive behavior initiatives (3+ years).
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Experience with school climate programs and restorative practices.

Responsibilities

• Support district-wide implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Systems with restorative practices.
• Provide professional development to school sites on behavior strategies and climate.
• Conduct walk-throughs and coach staff on Tiered Fidelity Inventory and SWPBS.
• Collect and analyze student behavior data to inform action plans.
• Coordinate partnerships with community agencies to support climate initiatives.
