Job summary

The Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) seeks a Teacher Leader - Social Work - TEP to strengthen equitable, legally aligned school social work practice across MTSS and related supports.

Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Student & Staff Support, this exempt role advances professional learning, data-informed systems, and cross-system coordination to ensure access and well-being for students and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in school social work is required.
• Experience with MTSS, school social work standards, and data-driven improvement.
• Ability to apply equitable, trauma-informed practices.

Responsibilities

• Program and practice consultation and implementation support across assigned workstreams.
• Design, evaluate, and facilitate professional learning and onboarding.
• Data-informed systems improvement and dispersion of best practices.
• Cross-system coordination with families, schools, agencies, and community partners.
