Job summary

King County's EMS Division is seeking a Program/Project Manager III to lead the Equity Community Health Outreach (ECHO) program, guiding planning, partnerships, and performance measurement. This role will manage cross-agency collaboration with fire departments, hospitals, and community groups, while ensuring equity and language access are embedded in program delivery.

The position supports an equity-driven, data-informed approach, reporting to the Equity Pod Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, public administration, social sciences, or related field; equivalent experience may substitute.
• Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in project/program management, community health, public health, or related fields.
• Experience working with diverse communities, including immigrant, refugee, and LEP populations.
• Experience managing contracts, budgets, and multi partner initiatives.
• Strong skills in data interpretation, evaluation, and performance measurement.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead program planning, development, and monitoring of goals, objectives, and work plans.
• Coordinate budgets, procurement, and contract negotiation and monitoring.
• Oversee data evaluation, reporting, and performance measurement.
• Build partnerships with fire departments, EMS partners, and community organizations.
• Serve as liaison for collaboration and networking with agencies; ensure equity considerations.
