Job summary

Health Improvement Partnership of Santa Cruz County (HIP) is seeking a Program Manager to lead cross-sector partnerships, manage grant-funded workforce initiatives, and coordinate with regional stakeholders to advance health equity.

You will support budgeting, planning, and the implementation of regional workforce strategies, with travel for funder meetings and HIP convenings as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate years of experience (3-5 years).
• Master’s degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Business/Public Administration, Nursing, Social Work or related field.
• 3+ years of project/program management experience of high complexity in healthcare or equivalent combination of graduate education and experience.
• Experience with coalition building, stakeholder management, and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cross-sector partnerships across Santa Cruz County and Central Coast.
• Manage grant-funded workforce initiatives and support program planning and grant deliverables.
• Support implementation of Health Career Connection Workforce Initiative Network’s strategies and work plan.
• Develop, track, and manage program budgets and ensure effective use of grant funds.
• Collaborate to implement revenue diversification strategies for program sustainability.
• Collect and analyze workforce data and labor-market trends to inform planning.
