Job summary

BRAINS WORKGROUP, INC. in New York City seeks an Equities FO Trade Support Analyst to provide direct front office technology support to traders and related teams on the trading floor.

You will monitor platforms, diagnose real-time issues, translate requirements into specifications, and help improve runbooks and documentation in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. 3+ years of equities front-office experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting front office trading applications in Equities.
• Knowledge of FIX, OMS platforms, Bloomberg IOIs and related workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Regulatory/compliance driven inquiries experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct front office technology support to Equities traders, middle office users, and Compliance teams on the trading floor
• Monitor trading platforms to ensure system stability and availability
• Diagnose and resolve real time trading issues, including compliance inquiries
• Communicate major incidents, impacts, and resolution status clearly to stakeholders and senior management
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from traders, ensuring proper tracking and prioritization
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for vendor and internal teams
• Share end to end workflows with Support and QA to strengthen regression testing and operational readiness
• Maintain and improve knowledge base, runbooks, scripts, and technical documentation
