Job summary

United Site Services is a leading provider of site services and equipment for projects and events, with a focus on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The Equipment Specialist-Yard role contributes to keeping our yard and assets in top condition while supporting delivery needs.

The position requires basic carpentry, maintenance, and forklift skills, plus a valid CDL option for occasional delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information one-on-one to customers and associates.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic and use US customary units.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to work with a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Check, repair, store fence, fence equipment and other assets.
• Keep maintenance and repair area clean and organized.
• Inform Supervisor/Manager of material used throughout the day.
• Report problems found on equipment to supervisor.
• Inventory must be checked and repaired before delivery and upon return.
• Conduct general facility maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Use forklift for loading/unloading assets (fence panels, bike racks, etc.).
• Occasionally operate delivery truck as needed.
• Follow safety rules and report hazards/incidents to supervisors.
• Handle special projects as assigned by management.
