Job summary

Superior Product Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Yard and Warehouse Associate to support daily yard and warehouse operations, including loading and unloading materials, maintaining inventory, and assisting customers and drivers.

You will help keep the yard safe, organized, and efficient while handling construction materials and operating equipment. The role requires the ability to work outdoors in varying weather, perform physical labor, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred; certification a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and workplace organization.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory handling.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks with construction materials using forklifts and other equipment.
• Assist customers, contractors, and drivers with locating and loading materials.
• Organize and maintain yard inventory to ensure materials are properly stored and accessible.
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and warehouse environment.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues.
• Assist with receiving incoming shipments and verifying quantities and product quality.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Support team members and management with general warehouse and yard duties as needed.
