Job summary

United Site Services is seeking an Equipment Specialist to perform routine maintenance on restroom and related equipment, ensuring facilities are clean, organized, and safe. The role involves using forklifts, steam cleaners, and pressure washers, with a focus on reliable service and timely communication with Supervisors.

The position requires physical capabilities, attention to detail, and teamwork to maintain yard organization and equipment readiness for delivery or return.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients on site
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks
• Manage time and prioritize duties effectively
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and customers
• Make timely decisions and solve problems on the job

Responsibilities

• Check, wash, repair, paint and store toilets, containers and other company materials
• Use steam cleaner and/or pressure washer for cleaning assets
• Keep wash pad area clean and organized
• Check and clean water-recycling system daily
• Inform Supervisor/Manager of material used throughout the day
• Report any problems found on equipment to Supervisor
• Check and repair units before delivery and upon return
• Conduct general facility maintenance and minor repairs as needed
• Assist with retrofitting of special or high-end units
• Follow safety rules and wear protective clothing
• Operate forklift for loading and unloading assets
