Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Assistant Equipment Solutions Manager for the Sports & Entertainment group, located in Minneapolis, MN on-site. The role partners with other Equipment Solutions Managers to provide leadership and project support.

The responsibilities include managing equipment, planning with teams and vendors, budgeting, and driving process improvements. Travel is expected around 25% and a strong background in construction equipment management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in construction, equipment rental, and/or project management.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize owned equipment, storage, and tooling.
• Plan equipment needs with project teams and vendors.
• Oversee large inventory and budgeting processes.
• Forecast finances and manage the rental software contracts.
• Support warehousing and equipment yard efficiencies using 5S.
