Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an Assistant Equipment Solutions Manager for the Sports & Entertainment group. The role partners with other Equipment Solutions Managers to provide leadership and project assistance on-site in Minneapolis, MN.

You will manage equipment inventories, plan with project teams and vendors, forecast budgets, and ensure efficient warehouse operations while supporting 5S process improvements and staff development. Travel about 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in construction, equipment rental, and/or project management (or 8+ years equivalent trade experience)
• Familiarity with basic maintenance/service schedules
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

SUMMARY

Mortenson is hiring an Assistant Equipment Solutions Manager-Sports & Entertainment to support our growing Sports & Entertainment group. This role partners with other Equipment Solutions Managers to provide leadership and project assistance.

Location: Minneapolis, MN (On-site 5 days/week)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in construction, equipment rental, and/or project management experience or 8+ years of equivalent professional trade experience
• Familiarity with basic maintenance/service schedules
• Effective communication both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize based on workload
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong computer skills
• Valid US Driver's License with clean driving record
• Ability to travel 25%
• Experience with budget planning and financial oversight (preferred). Demonstrated knowledge of construction equipment and materials (preferred)

The base pay range for this role is $100,100 - $150,200. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
