Job summary

Honda is seeking maintenance professionals to support production equipment, from emergency downtime responses to preventive maintenance after hours. You will work across robots, servo systems, electrical and hydraulic machinery, and participate in plant improvement projects.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, accurate documentation in Maximo, and collaboration across shifts to ensure continuous production performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and an associate degree or related maintenance experience.
• Experience with Motoman robotics, PLCs, and mechanical/electrical systems is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across robots, servo systems, and automated machinery are essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment emergency downtime, perform root-cause analysis and repair.
• Support weekend preventive maintenance and repair activities.
• Assist with plant shutdowns and new equipment installations or modifications.
• Document all equipment activity in the Maximo system.
• Report downtime and equipment modifications in daily briefings.
• Attend shift meetings and support cross-functional plant themes.
