Job summary

Honda is seeking an Equipment Service Technician in Ohio to maintain industrial equipment, troubleshoot downtime, and support production lines. The role requires reading electrical/mechanical/hydraulic prints and performing assigned repairs.

You will document activities in Maximo and assist with weekend maintenance and new installations. Eligible candidates have a high school diploma or associate degree in a related field, plus experience with robots, servo systems, and automated machinery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Two-year degree (Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial) or equivalent equipment maintenance experience.
• Problem analysis skills, Robots, Servo Systems, Electrical Systems, Automated Machinery and Mechanical Systems; knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and respond to equipment downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair root causes as needed.
• Interpret electrical, mechanical and hydraulic prints.
• Complete assigned work orders and support production lines.
• Document daily activity in Maximo.
• Support weekend preventative maintenance, plant shutdowns and new equipment installations.
