Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year degree (Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial) or equivalent maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair: robots, servo systems, electrical systems, automated machinery and mechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Able to interpret electrical, mechanical and hydraulic prints.
• Good computer skills.
• Strong decision making skills with ability to implement efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment emergency downtime, troubleshooting for root cause and repair as needed.
• Support weekend preventative maintenance and repair activity.
• Support plant shutdown activity.
• Support new equipment installations and equipment modifications.
• Report problem causes and countermeasures.
• Document all equipment activity in the Equipment Mgmt. System (Maximo).
• Daily reporting of downtime and equipment modifications.
• Attendance at shift meetings.
• Cross Functional support of plant / production department critical themes.
