Job summary

Jobot is seeking a maintenance technician to keep industrial equipment running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventative maintenance on machinery, troubleshoot robotics and conveyors, and interpret PLC codes to diagnose issues.

You'll collaborate with engineers, maintain records, and uphold rigorous safety standards while tackling downtime and continuous improvement. The role offers hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a maintenance tech role within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in preventative maintenance, industrial robotics, conveyors, troubleshooting, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Advanced knowledge of industrial machinery and the ability to interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey complex technical information.
• A strong commitment to safety, and a thorough understanding of safety regulations and practices.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults with industrial robotics, conveyors, and other equipment.
• Interpret PLC codes for troubleshooting, and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and operational disruptions, identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions.
• Monitor the performance of machinery and equipment, proactively identifying potential issues and addressing them before they escalat...
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to understand machinery requirements and develop maintenance strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, and communicate maintenance status and issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and practices, and actively contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
