Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Service Technician in Ohio to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment. You will respond to downtime, diagnose root causes, and perform repairs to keep lines running at target efficiency.

Responsibilities include interpreting prints for electrical and mechanical systems, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting weekend shifts and training when needed. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with MS Office are beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; two-year technical degree preferred.
• Two-year degree or equivalent maintenance experience in electrical/mechanical/industrial fields.
• Preferred 3 months of relevant maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair robots, servo systems, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Interpret electrical, mechanical and hydraulic prints.
• Complete work orders and support production for line efficiency.
• Document daily activity in Equipment Management Systems (Maximo).
• Support weekend maintenance, plant shutdowns, and new equipment installations.
