Job summary

Sundt Enterprise is seeking an Equipment Services professional to orchestrate cost-efficient mobilization/demobilization of equipment to job sites and secure best-value rental equipment. You will coordinate with 3rd party carriers, maintain ERP records, and support estimating with rate data for bids.

The role also involves managing asset utilization, vendor relationships, and timely invoice approvals to ensure project profitability and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Capable of reading and understanding vendor invoices.
• Comfortable with computers, capable of learning ERP software, telematics dashboards, and others as required.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills with agile response.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiar with common heavy equipment used in transportation (civil), industrial, building, concrete, and renewable (solar) construction.
• Familiar with common transportation practices and regulations for heavy equipment hauling.
• Provide fast-paced and on-demand customer service to Sundt field staff via multiple channels.
• Strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transport of assets for equipment services with 3rd party transport companies based on best value.
• Create rental equipment records in the ERP system.
• Monitor asset utilization and location to guide renting or relocation decisions.
• Maintain relationships with Sundt job site staff.
• Maintain relationships with all vendors used by Equipment Services.
• Order rental heavy equipment from vendors based on best value and release when not needed.
• Provide equipment and transport rates to estimating teams for bids.
• Review Blue Book reimbursement rate to estimate FOG and M&R costs for fair hourly rates.
• Review and approve rental and transport invoices and allocate costs accordingly.
