Job summary

Walter Payton Power Equipment is seeking a rental coordinator to manage crane and equipment rentals, inventory, and related admin duties. You will coordinate deliveries, demos, and repairs, work with outside sales reps, and ensure paperwork, insurance, and pricing are correct.

The role emphasizes customer service and teamwork while maintaining precise inventory control for the rental fleet. Experience with CDK or Salesforce is a plus, and you will support the sales and service teams to ensure

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years in sales, customer service, sales or rental coordination.
Experience with CRM and office software preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all day-to-day rental activities and functions for the company.
Generate revenue of equipment rentals while working with outside sales reps and customers.
Coordinate and scheduling rentals, deliveries, and demos, answer incoming calls.
Manage repair and maintenance of rental fleet.
Prepare sales and rental contracts for sales reps.
Ensure paperwork and insurance are correct with customers.
Coordinate with service and sales on equipment priorities and maintain a READY LIST.
Work with outside haulers to get best price, service and availability for freight.
Verify repairs with service before delivery and ensure equipment is ready to ship.
Arrange all deliveries for sale and rentals.
Take photos of equipment before and after rentals and save in files.
Manage and maintain new and used inventory and attachments on contracts and spreadsheets.
Communicate rental start and end dates with sales and accounting.
