Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Woodbridge, Virginia to be the face of our service, helping customers, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and using U-Scan to dispatch and return rentals.

The role offers on-the-job education, a $100 hiring bonus and an additional $300 upon certification through our program. Requires a valid driver's license and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and forklift operations (certifications offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
