Job summary

Western States Equipment Company in Idaho is seeking a customer-focused rental sales representative to promote The Cat Rental Store products and services within an assigned territory. You will engage with customers by phone and in person, explain options, and drive rental purchases to meet territory goals.

You will use SalesLink and related systems to manage accounts, schedule visits, and coordinate with service and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year previous sales experience and/or proven customer service experience.
• Thorough knowledge of light construction equipment preferred.
• Able to communicate in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells The Cat Rental Store products and services within assigned territory.
• Contacts prospective customers by phone and in person to determine needs and present options.
• Handles walk-in customers and follows up on leads to drive rentals.
• Negotiates rental rates and pricing to meet market goals.
• Uses SalesLink to manage accounts and coordinate with internal teams.
