Job summary

ASCO Equipment Inc. in Belton, TX is seeking a Product Support Sales Representative to build relationships with customers while selling Preventative Maintenance packages and shop/field service repairs.

You will call on current ASCO customers and develop new ones within your territory, quoting and selling parts and service jobs, PM contracts, and addressing customer concerns. The role requires a self-starter with strong communication, planning and negotiation skills, and a drive to provide

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven sales ability and excellent customer relationship skills.
• Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
• Strong planning, problem-solving and negotiation and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment components, repair times and overall technical aptitude.
• Solid computer skills and knowledge of general business software.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Market parts and service sales such as preventive maintenance plans, machine inspections, repairs, remanufactured components, quotes, warranties, and promotions.
• Perform follow-up calls on completed sales and major service transactions.
• Assist after-sales service calls to ensure equipment performs as expected.
• Provide limited technical support where appropriate.
• Ensure that Parts and/or Service estimates meet ASCO pricing and approval standards.
• Manage pre-planning, post-call notes and follow-up actions using a CRM tool.
• Adhere to all safety rules and complete safety training as required.
• Represent ASCO in a positive and professional manner at all times.
