Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Granbury, TX is seeking an Equipment Operator to manage heavy equipment for removing branches from electrical lines. You will operate Barko, Linebacker, and Jarraff mowers, perform daily maintenance, and follow safety rules.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license with CDL preferred; prior utility vegetation management experience is a plus. This is a full-time position with health insurance and a 401K, and occasional storm-work travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating Barko (mower), Linebacker (mower), and Jarraff (Sky trim).

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce rules.
• Prepare equipment and materials for daily work as directed by Foreperson.
• Operate equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Maintain and repair equipment and tools used in operations.
• Assist crew and lead when required.
• Clean up and dispose of debris.
• Set up barriers, signs, and markers for safety.
• Report mileage to Foreperson.
