Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of equipment operation and MSHA guidelines certification preferred.
• Communication skills, verbal and written; ability to provide and comprehend clear instructions (both general and technical).
• Reasoning skills including problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to assess and report hazards and work safely to prevent accidents and injuries.

Responsibilities

• Operate and safely control various quarry equipment.
• Travel to different work locations as needed.
• Communicate with customers or the public and work as part of a team to meet production needs.
• Perform manual labor and respond to inquiries or problems.
• Night shifts may be required; night incentive of $2.00 per hour on top of base pay.
