Job summary

Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. in Mill Creek Quarry is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for the night shift. You will safely operate the 988/992 loaders, excavators, motor graders, dozers, and haul trucks to move raw materials from railcars to stockpiles and to load finished products.

You will help maintain roadways and loading areas, follow safety rules, complete pre-shift inspections, and support related plant operations. The role requires strong safety focus, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Requires high safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Must be able to perform pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
• Ability to communicate in English and read gauges and manuals.
• Must work nights, weekends, and irregular shifts as required.
• Strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, graders, dozers, and haul trucks.
• Transport raw materials from railcars to stockpiles and load products for distribution.
• Maintain roadways and loading areas for safe, efficient operations.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and report needed repairs.
• Assist with other plant operations as needed.
