Job summary

Bolthouse Fresh Foods in Bakersfield, CA is seeking an Equipment Operator I for the 2nd shift (2:00pm – 10:30pm). You will support loading/unloading trailers, monitor process parameters, and operate plant equipment in a fast-paced natural ingredients facility.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent, a safe driving record, and the ability to work in a team with attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 1-3 months in related field experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Verifiable safe vehicle operation history; driving eligibility and background check criteria.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production needs with supervisors and inventory managers for loading/unloading trailers.
• Assist in operating plant equipment as needed.
• Monitor material flow and instruments including temperature and pressure gauges.
• Set or adjust machine controls to regulate conditions such as material flow, temperature and pressure.
• Unload and prepare ingredients for daily processing.
• Complete changeovers, CIP’s, cleaning and sanitizing tools/equipment as directed.
• Operate a variety of equipment including TA, Filler Room, CIP’s, Evaporators, Koch and Mondo.
