CAREER OPPORTUNITY:

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR - ASPHALT PAVING

LOCATION: APPLETON | WISCONSIN

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate asphalt paving equipment safely on job sites, including working around traffic and hazards such as electrical or gas lines.
• Transport equipment and materials to work locations.
• Work as part of a team to ensure project completion and adherence to specifications.
• Perform manual labor, traffic control, communicate with customers/public, and handle inquiries or problem-solving.
• Prioritize safety, complying with all workplace rules and regulations, and work safely around moving equipment and traffic in various weather conditions.
• Assist on asphalt prep crews as needed; cross-training provided.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience or knowledge in site preparation, excavation, or asphalt paving industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assess hazards and work safely.
• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.
• Mechanical skills.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, with basic math understanding.
