Equipment Operator-Aggregate Experienced

Responsibilities

1. Operate heavy, material-moving construction equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and productive movement of aggregate material.
2. Perform field engineering, welding, fabrication, major repairs, and service of all plant equipment in conjunction with the plant operator to maintain high safety and production standards.
3. Follow proper GOH/MSHA safety practices and procedures.
4. Conduct pre and post shift plant and equipment inspections.
5. Perform as a team member.
6. Utilize small hand and power tools, torches, and welding equipment.
7. Perform fabrication and field engineering requirements.
8. Rebuild crushers and screens, including bearings, brass, and wear parts.
9. Maintain proper care and maintenance of company equipment.
10. Travel to other job locations as required.
11. Work more than 40 hours per week, including nights, Saturdays, and possibly Sundays.
12. Assist with maintenance and housekeeping around the plant area.
13. Support plant safety and production standards, including daily preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; heavy equipment operation certification preferred.
• Relevant experience for equipment operator levels 1-4.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, climb stairs/ladders, wear PPE, and safely enter/exit equipment constantly.
• Ability to work in dusty, hot, noisy environments, shovel, walk on uneven terrain, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
