Role Overview: As an Equipment Operator, you will ensure safe, smooth roadway operations, especially during winter snow plowing. Your work includes operating machinery, performing minor repairs, conducting preventative maintenance, and keeping detailed logs. Work Schedule and Additional Information

• Full-time, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch
• Overtime, travel, and seasonal shifts; summer hours 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• No telework option
• Starting salary: $43,990/year (pre-tax) for new employees

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of the Transportation Equipment Operator Trainee Program or
• Graduation from a Commercial Driver's License Training School or
• Equivalent experience and training

Special Requirements:

• Valid Pennsylvania Class A or B CDL with Air Brake Restriction removed
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate under FMCSA regulations

Conditions of Employment

• Obtain active certification for heavy trucks and construction equipment within probation
• Maintain necessary CDL endorsements and certifications
• Operate manual transmission vehicles if required
• Subject to Drug and Alcohol testing
