Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company in Dallas is seeking an Equipment Operations Coordinator to support equipment operations, data entry, billing, and order processing within the rental and construction supply business.

You will handle routine transactions, respond to internal and external inquiries, manage inventory and fleet information, and help improve processes while aligning with the company’s safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data entry systems.
• Ability to learn operating systems for data entry.
• Ability to identify common construction materials and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service through positive interactions.
• Understanding of internal equipment management tools.
• Knowledge of logistics operations and warehouse organization.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine duties in purchasing, fleet/inventory counter operations, billing and distribution for equipment rental and construction supply.
• Performs accurate data entry using ERP for rentals and material transactions.
• Responds to internal/external inquiries via phone and email about equipment/material transactions.
• Provides pricing, availability and specs for inventory/equipment questions.
• May handle shipping, receiving, and storing fleet/inventory materials.
• Manages transfer tickets and validates transactions for accuracy.
• Supports drivers with storage locations and warehouse organization.
• Participates in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
