Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company in Aurora, CO seeks an Equipment Operations Manager 1 to lead an equipment operations team providing rental services to internal and external customers. Responsible for scheduling, fleet management, repairs, maintenance, and timely billing, supporting Blue Hat strategy.

The role requires 5+ years in rental/construction, 2+ years people management, and budgeting experience; HS diploma required, bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management or related field preferred.
• 5+ years rental, construction, or relevant industry experience.
• 2+ years people management experience (preferred).
• 2+ years with budgeting/financial management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and injury-free environment.
• Manages equipment rental business per Blue Hat strategy; uses operational metrics for decisions.
• Provides clients guidance on equipment needs and solutions.
• Oversees transactions for purchasing, fleet, scheduling, billing and customer relations.
• Maintains knowledge of fleet location to support scheduling and service decisions.
• Analyzes reports to inform leadership on trends and improvement opportunities.
• Drives revenue opportunities related to equipment and inventory products.
• Resolves equipment, inventory, service, and billing discrepancies.
• Leads training and knowledge sharing within Blue Hat operations.
