Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking an Equipment Operations Manager 1 to lead an equipment operations team delivering rental services to internal and external customers. You’ll manage scheduling, fleet maintenance, billing accuracy, and day-to-day operations for a designated location, aligned with the Blue Hat strategy and company goals.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, operational excellence, and strong collaboration with project teams to drive revenue and efficiency for the division.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in business, construction management or related field.
• 2+ years people management experience preferred.
• 2+ years with financial budgeting and management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and promotes injury-free environment; mentors staff.
• Manages all equipment rental aspects per Blue Hat strategy; uses operational metrics for decisions.
• Provides guidance and solutions for clients’ equipment needs.
• Oversees transactions relating to purchasing, fleet and inventory, scheduling, billing, and customer relations.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment fleet location to schedule, service and repair decisions.
• Analyzes operational reports to inform leadership on trends and opportunities.
• Executes new revenue opportunities for equipment, service, and inventory products.
• Resolves equipment, inventory, service, and billing discrepancies for internal and external customers.
• Leads training topics and serves as a resource for Blue Hat operations.
