Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to join Superior Products Distributors, Inc. This role involves repairing and maintaining small engines, heavy construction equipment, and rental fleet assets. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Branch and Rental Managers to ensure equipment is properly serviced, maintained, and ready for use, while providing excellent customer service in the yard.

Responsibilities:

1. Report daily to the Branch Manager for assignments and prioritize tasks.
2. Perform maintenance and repairs on small engine equipment and heavy machinery.
3. Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot engine issues, and replace components as needed.
4. Reassemble equipment after service and keep accurate repair records.
5. Prepare rental equipment by servicing, inspecting, tagging, and ensuring readiness.
6. Assist customers in-yard, providing equipment instructions and maintenance advice.
7. Manage the breakdown list, ensuring equipment status is current and addressed daily.
8. Order parts to maintain the rental fleet's optimal condition.
9. Coordinate with the Rental Manager to align maintenance with company policies.
10. Maintain professionalism, work well in a team, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or GED.
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field.
3. Basic knowledge of construction equipment and small engine repair.
4. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
5. Valid Driver’s License with a clean record.
