A leading company in the semiconductor industry is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician in Sunnyvale. This role involves maintaining wafer fab equipment, ensuring reliability, and supporting training for junior technicians. CA Pay Range (Hourly):
$32.31 - $60.00At Infinera, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for equity grants, discretionary bonuses, or commission payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company’s incentive plans, the Company’s financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.

Title: Euipment Maintenance Technician
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Job description:
Maintain/sustain manufacturing equipment and help to improve equipment availability/reliability. Prepare/schedule preventive maintenance work, pouring/changing chemicals when needed to backup chemical technicians, including replacing parts to meet manufacturing requirements. Help with equipment repair/PM/upgrade/install, procedures, and safety guidelines/assistance, including training less experienced maintenance technicians in standardizing troubleshooting techniques as needed. Work closely with manufacturing personnel and equipment/process engineers to make adjustments in matters relating to equipment repair/PM/chemical pouring, procedures, and safety guidelines/assist and help others troubleshoot equipment. Daily hands-on involvement with tools in the following areas: wet etch, dry etch, photo, and metrology. Overnight support of wafer fab facilities equipment is required as needed. Follow all Safety/LOTO procedure guidelines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Education: Minimum AA Degree or equivalent working experience preferred.
Experience: 5 Years in a manufacturing environment and hands-on experience as a maintenance/chemical technician. (Hands-on experience with Applied Materials P5000 Preferred).
