Job summary

American Ordnance, a Day & Zimmermann company, seeks an Equipment Inventory Specialist to organize and coordinate property and fleet operations across the plant. The role emphasizes accurate records, plant-wide inventory, and handling of surplus property.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of related experience, and a valid driver's license. Ability to obtain forklift certification and pass background checks are required for all candidates.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Completes all receiving reports and ensures accuracy of equipment records plant wide.
• Conducts plant wide inventory of Contractor and Government equipment.
• Receives incoming scrap metals/materials and segregates appropriately.
• Locates, organizes and inventories plant equipment items for sale.
• Prepares for shipment any excess property, material sold or property sent off site for repair/exchange.
• Performs duties during absence of Salvage Yard Supervisor.
