Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a Materials Support to maintain accurate inventory and ensure efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. You will identify, label, stock, transport and record materials, verify packing slips, prepare shipments, and support production and inventory control activities.

The role requires safe operation of powered industrial equipment, effective communication with internal teams, and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Forklift license with training completed.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and reliable on-site attendance.
• Manufacturing experience of at least 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy by identifying, labeling, stocking, recording, and tracking materials.
• Safely operate forklifts to move materials within the facility.
• Verify items against packing slips and process receipts or shipments.
• Package materials for delivery to internal or external customers.
• Respond to material requests and communicate with internal departments.
• Prepare bills of lading and delivery documentation.
• Pull and verify materials for production orders.
• Support cycle counts and inventory control activities.
• Use the inventory management system to track material movements.
• Sort items by destination and match with purchase orders.
