Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Background in Construction or Agriculture equipment market preferred.
• Military and veterans encouraged to apply.
• Experience with DBSi system or ability to learn the DBSi system.
• Strong organizational and ability to manage a changing workload.
• Strong financial negotiating skills.
• Proven leadership and strong customer service skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with others.
• Some local travel will be required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of a machine sale from order to shipment and invoicing.
• Place all orders for stock inventory, work tools or new business within the heavy or compact product group.
• Report sales activity to Caterpillar through DBSi for product grouping.
• Locate or transfer machinery to fulfill a sale.
• Develop relationships with Caterpillar dealers and suppliers.
• Communicate shipping instructions to the transportation manager to meet customer instructions.
• Set up demonstrations and equipment loaners for sales reps and follow up for adherence to policy.
• Coordinate with Service for PDIs and additional customer work.
• Keep sales reps and management informed of product problems or delivery issues.
• Enter received equipment and reconcile DBSi system within 24 hours of paperwork.
• Provide backup support for other coordinators as needed.
• Provide timely reporting and flag noncompliance to Sales/Operations Manager.
