Gallagher Group Limited’s eShepherd unit seeks an Equipment Diagnostic Technician to diagnose, repair and refurbish returned equipment while supporting customers and partners. You will validate firmware, capture feedback for engineering, and help improve service processes.

Ideal candidates have electronics/IT qualifications, strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold electronics/IT or technical qualification, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electronic equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair eShepherd products to component level.
• Refurbish and test returned equipment ready for redeployment.
• Investigate warranty returns and identify root causes.
• Support customer and partner technical enquiries.
• Validate firmware updates and product releases.
• Capture service insights and provide feedback to engineering teams.
• Assist in developing service procedures and troubleshooting resources.

The Opportunity

About the Role

As an Equipment Diagnostic Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive reliable, high-performing products and exceptional technical support. You'll diagnose and repair returned equipment, support customer and partner enquiries, validate product updates, and collaborate closely with engineering, operations and customer success teams to improve product performance across the field.
