eShepherd is Gallagher’s boldest venture, bringing cutting-edge virtual fencing technology to livestock management. As an Equipment Diagnostic Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and refurbish returned equipment, support customers and partners, and collaborate with engineering to improve products across the field.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment leveraging electronics, IT and IoT expertise to ensure high-performing devices and exceptional technical support worldwide.

Qualifications

Electronics, IT, electrical or related technical qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.
Experience diagnosing and repairing electronic equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Experience with IoT devices or firmware updates is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair eShepherd products to component level.
Refurbish and test returned equipment for redeployment.
Investigate warranty returns and identify root causes.
Support customer and partner technical enquiries.
Validate firmware updates and product releases.
Capture service insights and provide feedback to engineering teams.
Develop service procedures and troubleshooting resources.
Drive continuous improvement across service operations.

The Opportunity

About The Role

As an Equipment Diagnostic Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive reliable, high-performing products and exceptional technical support. You'll diagnose and repair returned equipment, support customer and partner enquiries, validate product updates, and collaborate closely with engineering, operations and customer success teams to improve product performance across the field.
