WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals seeks an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to develop, implement, and maintain centralized equipment inventory across perioperative and patient care areas.
You will coordinate a team, optimize equipment utilization, monitor costs, and ensure compliance with storage guidelines while partnering with clinical and non-clinical staff. Day-to-day duties include managing PAR levels, coaching staff, and analyzing usage data to support hospital operations.
Develops, implements, and maintains inventory control over all equipment in the centralized management fleet to support patient care and/or ancillary departments. Position is responsible for coordination of all team members within equipment handling ensuring efficiency of labor and optimization of equipment utilization.
